When hitting water at some speed it does bow and splash up pretty high. I have gone through mud/water and ended up with airbox an air filter all filthy and wet. However slow steady driving tends not to get water by the inlet.

Take you gearbox ratios and calculate if for every gear and tire/diff combo, then you will know. Enjoy :D

Lance keep in mind that the transmission has an overdirve top gear. Your calculation assumes that the top gear in the transmission is 1:1, also you use shortened formulas instead of the proper math calculation (close enough but still).
