still chasing a p0420 code, any techs with some ideas?

Without any other DTC tripping it pretty much has to be one or both of the sensors, an exhaust leak or cat problems. Get the FSM if you don't have it and look for the file named 0060037.pdf under the SFI System sub-directory. Has full diagnostic procedure and testing parameters. ^ || what...

'07 4runner - how does speed sensor work?

Clunking noise when I brake and codes on/off

The file I referenced in the FSM is regarding diagnosing the mis-fire codes. Going to guess your clunk issue is control arm bushing related. Having the exact problem on the Tundra and just ordered a set. Also diagnosed the same problem on a friend's 745i which the shop just fixed for him.

    2005 Speedo Readings Randomly Changing

My office machine has my manual on it so I can't help there. I did just check alldata and pulled screenshots. Is the odometer still clocking? When driving, if you reset to Avg MPH on the computer does it recalculate a new value after a few seconds? I doubt it will do anything but...

    2005 Speedo Readings Randomly Changing

Get the FSM (people!!! it's a sticky on the first page. It tells you how to do almost everything). Look under the "Instrument Panel, Gauges and Warning Indicators" section and then "Testing and Inspection » Symptom Related Diagnostic Procedures » Problem Symptoms Table" .
