FWIW, I leave my lights on all the time - never turn them off. As I see it, they act as my daytime running lights during the day and double as a safety feature. In fact, the only lights that I consiously turn on or off as the situation warrants are my fog lights.

FWIW, I just put in a Pioneer X920BT and am very happy with it. It's not without its quirks and minor annoyances, but if you want Nav, DVD, Ipod, Bluetooth audio and hands-free, voice control, all in one unit,.. it's a great deal.

Hey guys,.. need a little insight. I am in the midst of installing a backup camera for my new Pioneer x920bt. I've gone as far as installing the camera underneath the silver lip of the liftgate and routing the video line up the gate and into the cabin where the rest of the wire bundle comes in...

For what it's worth, I just finished the same install of the x920bt and I thought I'd share the splash screen I created in case anyone wanted it. It's nothing fancy, but I like it. And I know that Avic411.com has a whole thread of these splash screens, but finding anything T4R is difficult.

So did you ever install your flush mount camera? I bought a similar type off of Amazon and I'm trying to think of how I want to install it (preferably without cutting into the sheetmetal). I think I have a plan to mount it so it looks close to stock in the stock location, but I'm still stumped...
