Hey Ron, my CEL just came on today, how and where do you read the code on 1998 4runner? Do you know? I am like 100 miles from home in a little vacation resort and don't want to drive it home if it's something serious.

I used the same Harbor Freight tool, which is a piece of crap and it was difficult, but I did get them in. Did not test drive it yet so I am hoping for the best. But I definitely would not reccomend that tool to NE1.

All I can think of if you've done everything right is that you may have a leak at one of your wheel cylinders. You should check them and see if there is any brake fluid inside brake assembly.
