If replacing a cv axle you should push it in with the splines lined up till the c ring snaps in place. Take it for a test drive if it makes loud clicking sound when you turn then its not all the way in.
Ive been reading about doing this mod and supposedly the manual cv's are more heavy duty and you can run a dropbracket lift without the drop bracket, is this nonsense or what?
