Made some brackets and used strut nuts (2 each bracket) to attach them to the stock bars. Then used some bolts and locking nuts to attach the other side to the rack. The rack itself rests on the the stock bars. I like the low profile. I did not want something to sit up too high. I have to use a...

Homemade drawers and roof rack. Neither are 100% finished in the pics, but I apparently have not taken pics of the finished projects. The rack is now black and I had to install a fairing as the wind noise was very loud on the freeway.

Chain. I have 03 v6 and it is chain. You should be able to see the chain if you take the oil cap off and look into it from the driver's side.

I have 1.25 spacers and use it as my daily commuter on the freeway. no wobbling or vibrations. have also taken a long trip with them and they work great. I recommend the spidertrax. Can't comment on the ebay ones.

Yes. If I remember correctly several pages back there is a user that installed the blue ones. I believe they too have the sleeve length issue.

I have tried one like this. They are a pain to install. I would not recommend it.
