I have a 2013 Tacoma and the oil filter is right up top in the engine bay....no need to take off an entire panel just to get to the filter. I was a little surprised they would put it down there in the T4R. I just test drove a 2011 TE T4R w/ KDSS last night. Drove really nice and with the back...

I was interested in this. I currently have a Tacoma and have been thinking of trading in for a runner. I was curious if 4runner's had the needle bearing issue like Tacoma's if lifted more than 2.5".

Good information here. Currently looking at a used 2011 Trail w/ KDSS and trying to decide whether or not to trade my Tacoma in.
