are the weather techs the locking type that would fit a 2013???

ya i did the same as above with an arb50 qt. the only addition for my 5th gen was the switch (from air on board switches) and a relay. simple install and works like a hot damn. i am now able to cut the 'hot' power from the drivers seat if i want to turn the fridge off.

Went camping this weekend for my girlfriends birthday...glad to know the truck is good for a multitude of things....a little on the wet side.

just a little update.... after a long wait i finally received my 'OEM look-a-like' switch from Air on Board switches. easy install, looks as good as stock, and fits in the slot that was already in the dash perfectly.

Any idea what shipping to canada would cost? Victoria , bc specifically. Let me know if you would be interested.

according to my road trip app....with 285s, billies, saw rear coils, and a gobi stealth on the roof i get about 16mpg average.

yes, i ran a second wire with a 15 amp fuse straight from the battery to an alternate plug on the drivers side rear cargo area. ARB actually makes a kit that makes the install painless....but if you want to piece it together yourself you don't really need much for parts.

id just like to give a quick update on a situation i had with my (now previous) arg fridge….so here is the situation: i picked up an arb 47L fridge from a canadian company out east, and was thrilled to get it home and set up. when i received it i got it all working and hard wired in and went...

up here on the wet coast of canada...we are paying $1.27/liter. which equates to about $4.39 USD/Gal. ouch...
