I sure wouldn't take that bet. I think it's a strong possibility. I filed police report now too. They told me point blank that the amount of damage is too low for them to waste time investigating. It's on me and my insurance.

I did! That's why I think this was someone with a large trailer or something. The paint residue doesn't look like car paint. The big trailers and such usually park out there too because they don't have room anywhere else.
