I also found the wind through the driver's side window to be excessive. The trick is to lower the rear window....this effectively reduces the turbulence you feel in the driver's seat. Power is adequate for an SUV of this size. The Yota puts up similar numbers to the Grand Cherokee...

I haven't ruled out going with a 17" inch rim setup either...just trying to figure out what my options are at this point if I were to make a change. A decent road ride is important to me because most of my driving is on the road.

I've seen numerous posts regarding wheel and tire size, but I'm still not sure about the fit for 275 / 55 / 20s. I have a Limited 4x4 with the stock 20s and 245s, but I'm personally not comfortable overloading the rim with a wider tire. I'll likely either keep it stock or go for a 20" x 9"...

Ok, that makes sense. After seeing how effective they can be in roll-over crashes, I guess it never occurred to me why anyone would turn them off! Boy, that would be a mess if they deployed while doing some heavy-duty off-roading...

I bought mine about 3 wks ago...Limited 4WD with Nav, sliding rear deck, running boards, full tint, etc. Sticker was around 44,200 and I got it for 39,800 (+/-). Sounds like you have worked out a pretty good deal. Enjoy!

I'm up in East Cobb. I researched lots of SUVs and found the 4runner to be the best mix of looks, reliability, off-road credentials, and practicality. I'm not sure when I'll use the 4WD, but it just seemed like the right choice. Black is tough with all of this pollen though....washed & waxed...
