not complete;y, i just noticed that it isn't as cold, i just wnated to recharge it to get it cold again. I bought my runner used and unsure when in was recharged. it should be R12 though right?

Hi all... i have 3rd gen Runner and hada few questions before i recharge my A/C. 1) Before i do any recharging, R12 isn't used anymore right?? so my runner has R134 for my A/C . 2) how hard/easy is it to recharge my system using aftermarket products? Let me know. All inputs are great...

I went with 8k. though street legal from what i know is 6k.

Thanks Elton! will i still need to cut the green/black wire to complete the process or just DRL. i don't want to cut something doesn't need to be cut. it kinda tight under the dash.

I installed HIDs on my 01 Runner but the DRLs are on all the time. Does anyone know the best way to add a switch tot he DRLs so they aren't on all the time?

Yeah they were cheap originally they were $199. I guess i'll install the HID without the retrofit and hope for the best. I'll take before and after pics. i was told that if i disable the DRL an idiot light will come on, eitherr the brake light or the high beam. is that true?
