That's what I was finding too. Essentially I can't find a single reason to buy a 2017 for about $4000 more when there isn't a difference.

I agree and disagree with that. On one hand I definitely think they are trying to get you into the dealership more. On the other hand, there are a ton of people smarter than us building these things so they probably know what they're doing in regards to programming it. I'm sure someone will...

My wife and I have been looking at getting get a new car fir about 8 months. Test drove a bunch and decided on the 4runner. What we were told by a few dealers is that they can search and allocate one of the other dealer's cars to their dealership.
