    22RE vs. 3VZE

Man, really bringing a thread back from the dead. I would probably just buy the 2WD truck for the motor and have spare parts for your vehicle. 22RTE does not really make that much more power and parts are much more difficult to find or more expensive. I think the 3.4 swap would be the best...

WTB - 1st Gen IFS parts

If anyone has performed a SAS on their first gen or second gen, you probably have these brackets laying around. I really only need the right side, but I'll take both if you have them. It is the part that bolts to the knuckle and connects the tie rod.

    Where to buy sheetmetal

Thanks man! I'll check this out. Body mount is tweaked a little bit. I work for a dealership. Once I get it driveable, I will take it there for them to take a look at.

    Where to buy sheetmetal

Thanks for the input. Been searching salvage yards this morning. One person told me they had a 4Runner, but there were not any when I got there. I'll probably have to get one from the 4Runner house once he can find one.

    Where to buy sheetmetal

I had an accident in my 4Runner yesterday. Super bummed about it, but I need to see what I can do to get it back on the road. I am trying to find the collision parts, but not sure where to get them. Is it better to find used OEM parts, or new aftermarket ones? I can find some cheap stuff on...

This is an incredibly vague post. What exactly do you need help with?

    87 Turbo radiator issues

So sorry to bring a thread back from the dead but maybe it will help some poor soul like me struggling to find the correct radiator for their vehicle. I ended up getting a radiator from ebay from a vendor named americanradiator. They have two different sizes and mine was the bigger of the two...

    87 Turbo radiator issues

So just to follow up, I purchased the OSC147 radiator from Amazon and while it does have a fitting for the coolant pipe adapter (use a 1/8" to 3/8" adapter), the radiator is not appropriately sized. Mounting the radiator made clearance issues when bolted in place and I was unable to close the...

Help me decide on a color to Repaint my 1985 in.

I was debating doing an Army-ish green with black factory decals Something similar to this: If you want to get a bit more flashy, Mercedes has this metallic green that would look hot in that color scheme:

    Air suspension for 1st gen

https://skyjacker.com/shop/leaf-springs/tr20s/ Looks like the soft ride springs are still available. Pair that up with some ball joint spacers and it should be pretty level.

    87 Turbo radiator issues

Does it have the fitting for the turbo coolant line like in the picture?

    87 Turbo radiator issues

Yeah, I feel like it is weird as well. Even when it is freshly installed in the vehicle with no leaks the system still struggles cooling the vehicle in the Texas heat. Maybe it says more about the brand than aluminium radiators in general.

    87 Turbo radiator issues

My 4Runner (and all turbo 4Runners) is an automatic. I have to use the transmission cooler in the radiator. The fitting I need is for coolant for the turbo, so all I need to do it tie it back into the cooling system. I could get some kind of t-fitting, but I would rather get the hose back to...
