Some of the newer Lexus vehicles have this as well, my GX has this option so Toyota is thinking about it. They probably will have this option in the next generation 4 Runner.

I had the fix done on my GX and the bill was in the range of about $2000 - very expensive! But covered under warranty. It does fix it - I have only had the clunk 2 or 3 times since it was done a few years ago, before the fix it was a daily occurrence.
