Gas tank skids - UPDATED 2022 Search

I'm running a Lil Skip's. I'm local in Denver and he met me between his house and mine. Fantastic guy and I always want to support local, that's why for my full skids I went with Front Range Off Road.

Fantastic update on the build! Looks like you got things dialed in pretty well with the SAS and turbo.

Changing Rear Diff Fluid. Synth or Regular?

East Coast Gear, who does a crap ton of Toyota 3rds and other gears, recommends non synthetic Lucas Severe duty. They say to spend less and just change it more often. This is what I'm running in my diffs I got from them, and will always run as I agree with their line of thinking.

    4:88s or 5:29s

Tire size and transmission? I dd mine on 35's with 5.29 and it's perfect. Can still do highway speeds, yet I can just roll on the throttle to get up less steep hills. It's nice to not have the trans shifting all the time.

New gears and ARB, what air source?

Thanks for the link! I'm looking at doing this down the road for filling my tires, but kinda nervous to run the Co2 for air lockers due to what's pointed out above.

New gears and ARB, what air source?

I looked at those, but $500 for the setup is more than the air compressor I just ordered.

New gears and ARB, what air source?

Thanks again for all the feedback guys!!! I think I'm going to go with the CMKA12 and mount it in the engine bay. Later down the line I might pick up a Powertank if I go to beadlocks with the monster valve, but keep the ARB for lockers and backup air source.

New gears and ARB, what air source?

Thanks for all the feedback guys. Will have to look into that Smittybilt some more. Wonder where I could mount it as it's bigger than the ARB dual. I do have some Milwaukee tools and just picked up an impact, so air tools is more of a backup or just an option if absolutely needed. The single...

New gears and ARB, what air source?

So last night I ordered new gears and front locker from ECGS!! I went with 5.29's for my 35's and added the front ARB because why not when doing all the work. Now I need an air source. I'm looking at the ARB dual compressor as it would be awesome to have something that can air up my tires as...
