I wouldn't bother doing the pump o-ring. You don't have the unbolt the pump from the assembly. Just do the pump seal.

Might be time for a new dealer.. Clearly shows it in the parts catalog serviced separately. I'd just put in the front pump seal. Just leave well enough alone.

I was having a similar symptom with my 02 Taco. At highway speed around 62-65 mph, throttle held at a certain spot to keep speed on the highway, the engine would hiccup/skip for just a second. Could feel it but to small for the tachometer to pick it up. Found out it was the Throttle Position...

No, you should be ok. It's when you take and spin the thing like crazy and don't know how many rotations you had spun it.

It's called the "Clock Spring" Hope you didn't turn it when you have the wheel off??!! My Taco is the same way when it's super cold outside. You would have to buy a new one if you'd want to quiet it down. And at that, the new one might be just as noisy?

Have you checked that the window "lock out" switch on the drivers door is not pushed down? If it's pushed down, it will "lock out" all window controls at the 3 other doors. All controls would still work at the master switch though.

I'm reading the recall now that we get from the blue oval, to Fords credit, the recall is just a software update and not a hardware issue...

Pretty much any auto parts store should have them. They are just called Push-Mount Cable Strap. It depends on the size of the hole it clips into. Looks like this one should work for you..
