I think I figured out the problem but not sure about a fix. I'm not mechanically or electrically inclined at all. Its the smart key antennas that have a ridiculously crappy range. I attached a picture of antenna locations and range.

With it running, I get out and go open the trunk door or one of the rear doors for whatever. When I do that, the key locator lights on the dash and anytime I open/close a door I get 8 beeps...
