Took my vehicle to dealer for recall and when they were done they tried bringing it out but wouldn't start. Then it would start and shut off immediately. I said it's never done that and they needed to take another look... Almost an hour later they tell me its definitely an aftermarket kill...
I use it whenever I'm not on a flat surface but I use it less than I did on vehicles that had it located near center console. Something about the pushing pedal to the floor to engage instead of release makes me think it might get locked on.
I wish I was. It was 3.5 hrs labor unless they charge more than the $120/hr they used to ... They go by book not actual time they spend like my old mechanic, $300 for tire carrier and bolts, I'm guessing about $20 per qt of cheap 80-90, $30 for washers, and tax.
I need another honest...
The limited has a 265/60/18 that fits in the carrier space with a little room to spare. Not thinking there's enough space for a 275/70 but I haven't actually measured it.
