    Pacific Northwest Ideal AT tire

I had the Toyo at 2. Now have the Toyo At 3. I have been very happy with both.

    Toyota Land Cruiser

If they made the 6th gen 4Runner a soft uv that would be sad. If they made the 6th gen 4Runner same size as the 3rd gen it would be very interesting. I kinda want the GX. But it is so ugly. My wife told me our next car needs to have more luxury than my limited trim 4runner.

    Trd brake pads are amazing

Yup. The casting quality is very good and the steel alloy they use seems to be harder and thus doesn’t get chewed up by the pads. I’m hard on brakes. Not because I Tow but I Drive all the time up and down the mountains and canyons. I typically can only get 25,000 miles for my pads. The last time...

    Trd brake pads are amazing

Try bleeding the brakes. I did my first flush a couple of years ago and used RBF600. Partly because I have a case of them. Shockingly a brand new 4runner with 30,000 miles back in the day I had bubbles come out of each caliper. And the brakes were never touched by anyone after leaving the...

My X-REAS is slowly dying, what would you do?

I went with 2021+ TRD PRO take offs. Purchased locally off facebook marketplace. Less than 100 miles on them $1200 with the rear springs. They seem like the best option. Damping tuned to position. 1" lift for us limited trim folks. Maybe slightly more as I understand the sr5/trdoffroad/trd pro...

Sooo.. Is it time for a Land Cruiser??

The 3rd row in any SUV is terrible. Even in a Yukon XL. I've had one. If you need 3 rows get an Odyssey or a Sequoia or lease a Pacifica.

Will you keep your 4runner if gas hits $8 a gallon?

i'll still keep my 4runner. If the fires ever threaten my home and I needed to evac, I'd take my 4runner over my Tesla. Unless the low gas light is on. I went with 3x powerwalls to keep the lights and AC on.

Have you test driven anything recently that was either surprisingly good or surprisin

2022 Tesla Model 3 LR and performance. Also Model Y LR and Performance. Damn good for all 4 variants. I ended up buying a Model Y performance to get the hatchback layout. Much better for a young family transporting hockey bags around.

Do you have to remove the front bumper to remove the headlights?

What breaks? 10 Years Old but Low Miles

My wife got Tboned in my 2015 limited. It’s now needing a new front bumper cover, new rear bumper cover, new passenger front fender. Needs rear 1/4 panel repaired. New trim pieces. Needs two new wheels. 1 tire ruptured when it was rammed off the road and jumped the curb. The passenger front...

    total newbie to towing question

U-Haul is the most convenient. But their tarilers are overbuilt because they know people will do werid and dumb things. A nice car trailer is around 1800lbs for an aluminum one. See if you can find a place that rents these locally. I've towed FD rx7s with my 4runner and these nicer car...

What breaks? 10 Years Old but Low Miles

My 2015 limited has 70,000 miles. I don't tow abtravel trailer. But only small uhayl trailers for picking up renovation materials. And small skid steers at tge local rental yards. I would say my plastic chrome plated door handles are all chipping and peeling. My 4runner eats brake pads...
