    A little help with a clutch issue? (94 V6, 4WD)

Are you using any clutch fluid (its actually brake fluid) from the M/C for the clutch? If so, when it goes out can you "pump" the clutch and get it to work? I suspect it might be the clutch master or slave cylinder. Using fluid would be a definite, but they can go out without using any fluid...

    91 4runner 3VZ Wont Start/Run on Petrol

Does it run two different fuel pumps I assume?? If so, I would start there...it runs on propane so mechanically you are fine, it is basically a fuel (petrol) problem. The injectors should run the same for both fuels. Just my two cents worth. Brad P.S. did you check the fuel pressure from...

    Extra Parts Inside The Engine???

WOW, Here we go again with a weird one. We got the motor pulled out (the kids thought that was really fun!), and when I pulled the oil pan, then the windage tray, look what I found!! The picture of the 3 mysterious parts has me puzzled, because as I read Mitchells, it only mentions a thrust...

    Taping an Engine bolt hole

hole tap The better way to do this is what is known as a "Heli Coil" (that is a brand name, several kits of the same around) What you will have to do is tap the hole out slightly larger, then you will have an "insert" that goes in there, that restores the ORIGINAL thread size. they are...

    Head Gasket repair

BY ALL MEANS replace all timing components while you are that close. It will require just a bit more dis assembly, but worth it. I have done several timing chain break jobs and that means pulling the pan to go fishing for components, take your time, do it right and it is not too hard. Good...

    V6 Motor lift points

O.K. here's a wierd one. Our HS auto shop is now working on my new project (I am the teacher). We have a 92 w/V6 that the previous owner ran out of oil due to crankshaft seal failure. (the engine has a documented 15K on it, it was replaced due to almost the same reason...no lesson learned here...
