My 2016 LE does this after driving for a bit (highway) and hit the breaks, if I hit them a second time within a short time (less then 15 seconds) they do not dim again...

Its crazy how a loose cap will cause such a crazy amount of random warnings that flood the dash board. I'd try auto zone for a code scan or get an app and dongle. I hate being at the mercy of dealerships and other service type industries. I'm a Mechanical Engineer., so I like to fix things...

Went in to get an oil change yesterday and they were going to do the recall, but were missing a few parts and I could not leave it (they offered a free loaner) due to plans after work today

What are the odds this will work on a 2016 Limited?

So, another new noise developed. Sounds like the brake squeal you hear with worn brakes. BUT it does not go away when you brake. It's also a constant pitch and not engine speed dependent. BUT it goes away under 5MPH so I cant look for it at a stop. I tried shifting and going to neutral etc...

Well. Forgot to grab some tape before I left. But had some thin cardboard. Put it over the striker and.... seemed to work! Striker was tight. So thank you!!!! Is there a way to tighten/adjust the latch mechanism?
