I too have a 2011 and both of my puddle lights stopped working ... doubt they both burnt out at the same time with only 40K miles. Did you ever figure out why they weren't working?

Sorry no I didn't make a template. I simply removed the factory speakers with brackets (they are almost one piece) then traced them on the MDF board. Cut them out with a jig saw - drilled 4 holes - then done. Very simple. Chris

OK... I put bass blockers rated at 200 hz in the front dash kappas and installed the Boston Acoustics 6" x 9" in the front doors.... WOW what a difference. So much clearer and more bass than before. I did however have to make my own mounting brackets out of MDF board during the install...

That is funny I was actually looking at the Boston SL95s since they were low power. How would you compare the bass to the stock speakers? Less or More?

Did you get any bass out of the Boston Acoustics in the Door? I just replaced the dash with Kappas and thinking about doing the doors too. I don't know if I want to go the whole amp route yet.
