Just got the call from the shop apparently it wasn't the purge valve solenoid. They replaced it and it still was throwing codes... They dropped the tank once again and apparently the O-ring was rolled up during the fuel pump replacement.
I'll talk to them more when I pick it up.
The one thing I can't wrap my head around is why the purge valve would cause crank time to be like 6-10 seconds that just doesn't make sense to me. I can't get in until July 7th now so we'll see what happens when the purge valve is replaced.
Thought I would update my situation in this thread for any poor sap that has as bad of luck with their 4runner.
Just got back from the shop they say it needs a new Purge Valve solenoid. I'm a little skeptical on that but they are replacing it under warranty so that's good. Time will tell.
Honestly.. I've watched so many youtube videos now I can probably drop the tank and replace the fuel pump my self.
I'm gonna pick up a fuel pressure tester and see if I can figure out how to hook that up.
I had the exact same thing happen nothing but issues first tons of evap codes after the fuel pump recall now this weekend took a little road trip about 2 hours away. Started throwing codes P0171 and P0174.
6-10 second crank times and just overall seems to be running poorly. Pulled MAFs sprayed...
