How much are people paying for the NEW 4Runner?

$48,243 2022 ORP Options were: KDSS Moonroof Premium Package All Weather Floor Liners & Cargo Tray Dual-Power Port/Quick Charge Cable Package If I build it on Toyota now, it's $48,543. Looks like the base price is currently $300 more.

How much are people paying for the NEW 4Runner?

We just had one delivered today from Hatch Toyota in Show Low. Red ORP with KDSS and a few other options. Paid MSRP plus about $800 between doc fees and VIN etching and one other thing I forgot at the moment. I found it on their website and/or thru the Toyota local inventory search on 1/3...

Oil Change 5th Gen: How To- LOTS of PICS!

My new WRX has the filter up top for easy access just like that MGB. Nary a bolt, clip or panel to be removed to get to the oil plug or filter. Makes changes a snap. Now we've had no real problems with the 4Runner. But let's be honest, they did make it a giant pain in the ass to change the...

    Diffs and Transfer Oil

I changed the factory fill in the 2010 rear diff. (RWD) @ 76k. Truck has been pretty much a pavement queen and never seen much dust or been in water. It came out looking clean and I almost regretted pulling the plug. Magnetic plug had the normal black 'fuzz' on it. It was replaced with...

    brake job question

If you're yanking the rear rotors, there is a second pair of bolts (beyond the slide pin bolts) that attach the 'rear disc brake cylinder mounting' bracket to the axle hub. You have to remove that 'mounting' to pull the rotor. The torque spec on those two is 105 N-m or 77 ft-lbf.

Dealer Tech Opinion - Recent 10K Service

I'll admit that I've never used a torque wrench to tighten the housing. But mine has always reached kind of a 'stop' where your original photo shows. The type of feeling where another 50 lb-ft wouldn't move it much if at all. I've never liked installing that housing. It feels weird pushing...

What's the 'associated index mark' that you mention? Mine has always ended up about where the one in your picture shows.

break pad need to be replaced?

We bought our 2010 4Runner new and I just replaced the rear pads and rotors last weekend at 76,000 miles. Passenger side interior pad was more than 100% used and I really put it off too long as they were starting to grind. There was some pretty significant brake pulsating the last many...

Burning rubber smell right rear fender well.

I hate to revive an old thread, but this was the most recent one addressing this smell. Is there any chance this is the smell of the differential oil getting warmer than usual and the odor venting from the breather? Everyone seems to notice it under load and the differential would be doing...

Our range is acceptable. But I really have to push the button just right and fairly hard to get it activated.

    Cooper A/T3 Tires

If you're talking about the $75 card directly from Cooper, I received mine without issue.

Cool all terrain p rated tire

I believe it was tirecrawler.com for ~$139 + ~$19 shipping. Although seeing the invoice today where they mention the 'found it lower' price match, I'll be surprised if they redeem the $100 rebate. And clearly, by the fact that I purchased them, I also do not believe that P tires are...

Cool all terrain p rated tire

Based mainly on info from here, I ordered the A/T3 (P) for our 2010 SR5 and my wife just had them installed today. I've yet to see them. FWIW, Discount Tire matched online pricing (plus shipping) and I ended up getting them for $158 each plus install. Also FWIW, Discount is running a $100...
