Early 5th Gen Blitz Bumper NOW AVAILABLE!

Just checking to see if anyone has installed this bumper on a Trail Edition yet, and if so how did it fit with the TE valence? This is a great looking bumper and I've also got their rear dual swingout which is excellent, but want to see this on the TE before I commit. Thanks!

    Seattle206's 2014 SR5 Thread

Thanks for all the great info, guys! Really helps. It is sounds like the 701v is what I need. 677v for sure is too soft and too low of a spring rate for my weight.I had also misread my RTT weight, so my total constant weight is actually 670 lbs. That does not include 80lbs more on the bumper on...

    Seattle206's 2014 SR5 Thread

Great install pics of the 701v springs, and great adventure pics! I have a few questions on you switch from the 677v to 701v. Do you happen to have the rear hub-to-fender height measurements with the 677v and currently with the 701v? I'm trying to decide between the 677v, 701v, and 329. My...

Opinion please: Color match rear bumper or black?

dktxt4r - do you have a pic from the side or from quarter-rear? Your 4R looks great!

Opinion please: Color match rear bumper or black?

Here's an example of a Land Cruiser in silver/silver and silver/black. I think silver and dark gray works for the color match (especially in front bumpers), but colors not so much. Of course, It's all subjective. In the above pics, I think the silver looks better. Maybe just because it's...

Opinion please: Color match rear bumper or black?

Thank you! This is the same configuration I'm setting up. I like it. As much as I wanted to do something different, I'm leaning towards the black. Ultimately it's more practical.

Opinion please: Color match rear bumper or black?

The Lifestyle Overland rig was part of my inspiration for that look, and pics from rigs outside the US. Several posters made comments about touch-up and maintenance and that's a concern since I do use the vehicle as intended. Black is much easier. Still on thte fence tho...

Opinion please: Color match rear bumper or black?

Hi All, I have a 2010 silver metallic TE, and it has the black fender flares. I recently was rear ended, so I purchased a Victory dual swing out with the proceeds. I generally like the look of the color matched bumper, and in silver I think it could look pretty good. Most people stick with...

FS 5th Gen. Full Length Roof Racks by drabbits

Hey Drabbits, I considered the Baja flat rack, but for most of my use, I like having the side rails to help secure items up top, and also to use the crossbars for Yakima type carriers for skis, kayaks, etc. How much taller is the top rail over the stock TE rail? I may be able to modify the RTT...

FS 5th Gen. Full Length Roof Racks by drabbits

Is there possibility to get removable side rails to accommodate a rooftop tent so it can mount as low as possible? Maybe the adjustable crossbar could then be used as a stop to section off the remaining part of the open rack. I've got a lifted 2010 trail, and have a rooftop tent hoisted in my...

Interior Dog Protection (rhino lined panels and not just carpet?)

I'm going to try installing some 5mm rubber flooring. It's quite rugged, easy to clean, and should protect quite well. I'm not sure how I'm going to affix it to the back of the seats and slider tray yet. Maybe Velcro or double-sided carpet tape. 5mm Rubber Rolls - Rolled Home Gym Flooring

Radflo / OW coil over noise

The description of the sounds and the conditions under which it occurs is exactly what I am experiencing. The noise went away when I swapped back in the OEM stuff, so pretty sure it is the Radflo shocks. Sounds like a common problem, with no real fix.

Radflo / OW coil over noise

I've got the 2.5" and I've got some noise. Sometimes it's worse than others, possibly temperature dependent. Been meaning to drive to Radflo and have them have a look. The OW guys spent some time with me (thanks!) to have a look and couldn't really pinpoint the issue, but I didn't have the sound...
