    Still squeaking after suspension refresh

Something you may not have thought to check...the gaskets between the different sections of the exhaust system. I had an elusive metallic clunk/squeak on large bumps as you describe. Replaced every single suspension component (it was due anyways at 150k miles). Clunk/speak persisted. Got out...

FS: NEW 06-09 Front Bumper Cover (titanium silver) $50 obo - NW Pennsylvania

Like the title says, I have a brand new OEM style front bumper cover, already professionally painted in 1D4 Titanium Silver Metallic. The overall paint job is great - smooth bright and matches rest of vehicle perfect. However, there are slight blemishes to the paint (color coats are thin) in...

    front lower strut bushings shot!!

If you end up replacing the worn bushings, the key to avoiding premature failure is to torque the lower shock bolt ONLY after the truck is sitting on all four tires under its own weight. If you give those bolts their final tighten when the front end is in the air, once you lower the vehicle the...

    2006 V8 4runner Drivetrain Issue

Might be obvious, but did you use the parking brake at all? It could be stuck, or simply need adjustment. The parking brakes are finicky on these 4Runners. The parking brakes work off of shoes that put pressure on the inside of the top hats of the rear rotors. They do not utilize the calipers...

    4th gen LBJ part #

This is the one you want. Make sure it specifically says “Sankei 555 Brand” in the Important Info field. There are other parts manufacturers that use the 555 castings, but are inferior parts. Sankei 555 is the highest quality and the machining and finish on all their parts is incredible. They...

    4th gen LBJ part #

Sankei 555 makes the oem lower ball joints for our vehicles. Napa sells them, and they can normally be found new on eBay as well. Sorry I don’t have part numbers, but they were fairly easy to search and find. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Coolant hose help

I had the same thing happen in the middle of a 1500 mile round trip a few years ago. You can drive it but keep any eye on the coolant level. See below for part number. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Original plugs in 2008 4Runner (110,000 miles)

With new plugs that use a crushing washer, after finger tight you’ll need to go a couple turns further to crush that washer. Once the washer flattens out, THEN finish it off with a 1/4 to 1/2 turn. That’s probably what you felt. No cause for concern. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
