I started soaking this past weekend :)
(Don't even plan on starting the lift process for another week, or so, hahaha)
I'll hit every nut/bolt I can again a few times prior to starting as well.
You just watched a bunch of videos and then went ahead and tackled it, by yourself? Because that’s awesome! Bet it feels good to have it done! I’m going to hit the bolts and such with penetrating lube tomorrow and perhaps another time during the week, then may start next weekend. Can’t wait to...
Be careful what you ask for, hahaha! Thanks for offering advice if I need it! I knew I had seen some killer Runners in the area! Hope to actually meet some of you.
Thanks for the continued advice, all of you.
I was actually going to look into all new hardware....I have upper and lower control arms, with new upper bolts and cam bolts for lower. I should really look into replacing all of it, since the majority of things are coming out anyways (CV's, Sway, etc...)

I cannot wait to look through that suspension swap! Thanks so much for the valuable resource! :hail: I'd love to document my own, just to give back and provide any help I can to anyone who goes through the work later on.
Really? I guess I don't know much about them, or what settings I would need on my Bil's to perfect the stance. I will try to search more on them later.
Again, appreciating all the insight, especially from those who have done similar lifts. You guys rock.
Plus, it gives me a reason to buy a "summer toy" to drive while the Runner has some downtime, right? I mean, that makes sense to me...wonder if the lady will buy it :loco:
First, let me apologize for starting a thread about lifts, when there are a metric ton of them already.
Here it goes...I am piecing together a small lift and getting rid of the XREAS system on my 2004 4Runner Sport. (I have Bilstein 5100's, new upper (JBA) and lower control arms and the...
