98 SR5 Engine into a Limited Chassis - which wiring harness/ECU to use?

You need to know which cluster you have and then use a wiring diagram to determine which pins triggers the 4wd display on that specific cluster (or if you even have said). There are different clusters between the SR5, Limited, and limited with AWD. Repin/wire to get what displays you want to...

    E-Fan swap.

Don't recall seeing a pic of the front of ur 4runner but didn't you say you have a plate bumper, large trans cooler, winch and other additional weight? Is it possible you just have to much blocking air flow and/or to many stacked coolers? With the added weight and how your using the vehicle...

    Rocks & Flops: a 1-Ton SAS Build

Definitely a number of issues to work out but nothing you couldn't get through with ur skills, I have been very happy with the way my rig drives and handles on and off road after I went down said rabbit hole, but as you said a rabbit hole and a very deep one at that. IMO you should really move...

    Rocks & Flops: a 1-Ton SAS Build

Given any thought to front and rear double triangulated 4-link and move away from the panhard and steering box all together to get more articulation out of the front. How far do you plan to move the front axle forward.

Sry, but going to have to completely disagree with this, what individuals reports on forms like this, vs taking your vehicle to a good shop that understands what they are looking at, is different then a layman like most on this site reading said. Looking at tire wear is one of the first things I...

Worn ball-joints can be visual ascertained by reading tire wear. Learning to read tire wear gives an operator a wealth of information on the condition of a vehicles suspension.

    Destroyed Spark Plug V6 3.4

28petey I would perform a leak down test on the engine before you tear it down, just for data, and a better understanding of the engines condition. I assume you have an air compressor? Your in Denver, correct, I'm not to far from you, I could swing by on one of my Denver area trips if you don't...

What? Please explain this to me.... How many ball-joints on Toyota's have to changed, or any make vehicle for that matter? Can you also explain to me how your inspecting your ball-joints... what process do you use to "shake down a suspension" to check for wear? ball-joints definitely do die...

Should I change my rear wheel bearings? During regear?

There are sealed units with weather protection on both sides, oil, grease and multiple seals. any vehicle turns into a pile of crap if maintain is not keep up with, he only has 150K. At this point his engine has 25yrs so he should probably change out engines main bearings and oil pump before...

Should I change my rear wheel bearings? During regear?

IMO U should get another 100k out of whats there, unless there are other variables only you know about, with that said, it's not going to hurt anything to do said now but given that easy at getting to said in the future I'd leave things alone... a lot can happen in 100K and you may not even have...
