Your price range will many decide what year you are able to look at. I would guess somewhere in the early 90s which would get you a nice second gen 4runner. What you should look for is kind of up to you and what you're going to be using it for. But at least you know you want a 4x4. Try...

Nevermind, I just checked at night with my lights on and only the "Airbag" text lights up. With someone in the passenger seat the ON light also goes on but the "Passenger" light doesn't. Weird...

I agree with Thai. I owned a 98 4runner and while I loved it, it never really did what I needed outdoors (I actually ended up rolling it upsidedown on a dirt access road). I finally gave in and bought the new model (an 05) with the body look I don't really prefer either and it's really grown...

I second this as both are great tires. I bought some Duelers because they were a bit cheaper and have been happy but the BFGs are quality too.

28MPG?! I've never come close to that. Also, aren't you able to reset that somehow?
