We started running 87 shortly after buying. Within weeks we noticed sluggish response, and rough idle. Did a complete tune up, and oil change thinking that was the issue. Drove that way for a bit thinking it would settle. Last month we went back to 91, and the rough idle and sluggishness...

Paid 4k for a 1999 limited v8 fully loaded. They were even nice enough to throw in a few problems for free :biggrin2:

I've been averaging 18 mpg using 91 octane. With a mix of city and highway driving. The max speed 60mph.

Sorry for the loss. I have to agree with everyone else with being able to buy back the car. I would definitely look into that. I'm curious who you're insurance is through. On a side note.... I always knew jeep owners were jealous of Toyota owners.... I just never thought they'd stoop to...

I'm at 240k and the heads are already cracked. I've been pricing it out to see if its worth it to put rebuilt heads, or just get a rebuilt engine.
