    Dealer installed alarm junk !!!!

I doubt it, this karr system is worthless. Cut one wire to the relay or disconnect the control module and it’s effectively “bypassed”. The main purpose for these are being able to unlock/lock any vehicle in their inventory with a single fob. Then they try to sell it to customers to recoup their...

    Dealer installed alarm junk !!!!

Finally removed my Karr system. Left the t-taps on and just removed the connector. The way this alarm is wired up, its failure mode is to allow starting which is pretty funny. Just unplug the controller and you’re good to go. So much for the dealer claiming it was the ultimate system haha. Glad...

What are this strange electrical connectors on the driver side for?

Looks like crappy dealership work to me. The PO probably took off the worthless KARR or equivalent system.

    Mystery add-on switch found

They tried to sell it to me as an un-hackable alarm lmao. It’s literally just a device that allows a dealer fob to unlock any car while on the lot. If you fall for it and give them money they “activate” the alarm which does nothing besides maybe add a vibration sensor to the factory alarm...

    Mystery add-on switch found

Sounds like the KARR system that some dealers add for inventory control and then try to make you pay for it.

    Airing down/up and tire temperatures

Btw: hot tires = higher pressure. those portable compressors heat up fast and pump in hot air anyways. you don’t want to go low, Just bring them up to your regular pressure and check it again when cold. A couple psi is negligible.

Had to go back to using the plastic oil filter housing

For me the “problem” was how expensive the plastic one was compared to the metal one after the dealer refused to own up to their mistake.

    Dealer rip off?

What’s the price breakdown on the service order. Maybe they forgot to take the rotors off or charged you for the labor to fix their mistake.

New Odyssey battery, really dumb question.

Just wait until you get one of those dual battery setups… #superspeed I did have a bad battery connection on a motorcycle and it barely ran, had to keep the reved up high just to get it home. Although bikes have a much smaller charging system, I guess it’s possible with a vehicle but would have...

    Which Running Boards Are These?

Check your local market place (Facebook/groups) for used ones. They usually go for dirt cheap, just sold my set for $40.

Is This a Counterfeit Spark Plug Sold by Amazon?

Amazon allows sellers to just throw their items into a fulfill by Amazon bin of matching UPCs (so to speak) and any order gets pulled from the same bin no matter who the seller is. This is how counterfeits get placed into the mix. Ultimately the seller is responsible for the counterfeit even...

    Tightening parking brake

I have a feeling the cables have too much slack from factory. instead of adjusting the cables the dealers just bring the pads in closer which works until the pads wear down from being too close. The only way to get mine to mostly hold is having the pedal to the floor and that’s after the...

Another stealership complaint... pictures~! (So Cal)

Won’t do any good, dealer workmanship complaints just get forwarded back to the dealership. I filed a complaint for them over torquing the filter and drain plug causing the housing to seize and crack. the dealership ignored all of corporates requests to call me back. CS supervisor said they...

    After market dipstick?

Seriously, it’s horrible. I just did an oil change then pulled the stick out and said wtf is this, There’s oil everywhere lol. I’m assuming it might be easier to read with dirty oil. My VW has a braided cable with a nice chunk of textured metal at the end. There’s even a centering bead on the...

    starter kill switch

I mean he’s not wrong… your throttle output will always be 0-100%, all you’re doing is changing the curve of the output based on position. Their marketing is misleading but that’s not to say they don’t have any benefits. The stock curve is optimized for fuel economy. On my motorcycle the...
