Solo Running As the others have mentioned it is well traveled. My family traveled over Imogene from Telluride to Ouray last year and we meet up with a guided jeep tour. The tour driver and his passengers were a blast, we followed them a majority of the way and had a great time.

Tepui on my '99 This is my second round with a RTT. The first was a smaller tent while the kids were little, but we used and enjoyed it so much we ended up getting a larger one.

I chose the 4 link set up with the F-150 tank swap. Went through the floor as well to get the travel desired and to keep the 4runner low. I started with coil-overs but the more I read, adding bump stops and the sway bar was going to be the ticket with all the miles I was planning on putting on...

If you end up staying in this area you should make the quick 4 mile or so trip up to Clear Lake. My family and I were up there 7/22 and it was great.

I would try to get there is September, the earlier in the month the better.

Tired to keep mine low so it would still fit in the garage, but also wanted an area with sides to strap items down.

The offset was not an issue in my case. I'm not sure how close it would be to the factory gas tank as I relocated the tank to the back in favor of a 4-link set up.

FJ 80 all the way!!! I vote for the FJ80 rear axle, as mentioned before. 9.5 " ring gear, Full Floating, Rear disk breaks, a bit wider and it has the ABS rings so the Speedo still works!! I installed one on my 99 and it was only 100 bucks more then what I sold my factor e-locked rear for...

I love them!!! It took a few attempts, I started out way to soft and had a ton of body roll but once they are dialed in they are wonderful.

Not as of now. I told him there would be a market for them, I think he is considering.

With Help from Scott at The Rock Shop in Colorado Springs I got the rack finished up so I can mount the rtt and light bar. It turned out great, super stout and strong, plus it has speed holes and everything is better with speed holes!!
