Thanks for starting such a thorough thread cbr900boy. I seem to have the exact same issue that only shows itself on the hottest of days. I also had a pending EVAP related code thrown the last time this issue hit (P0446), so I'm looking hard at the EVAP system. Has your issue remained solved?
