Fenders came from McNeil Racing, and are for a Tacoma, wheels are from Method Race Wheels. Thanks!

    El Cheapo 4Runner build

Not really, went snow wheeling camping to some natural hot springs this weekend, ran kerosene in the Espar heater and it runs super clean compared to diesel. Makes the 4runner the coziest sleeping platform ever. ;) Broke my spare tire rack trying to drive like a jackass through some mini sand...

    Some anti-roll bar questions...

I had both off, hated it. Put rear back on, pretty good compromise for driving at speed on twisty roads, forest service roads, and articulating.

    Front diff upgrade time.

Hahah, still sitting there...had another kid so time and motivation are low! I'm trying to figure out he cheapest/most efficient way to do the spindles and shafts too. I'd love to run the stock tundra shafts, and just get my 4runner hubs resplined to fit. Or get new billet hubs made up in...

Built my own "Artic Truck" fender flares

Those turned out incredible...I know how hard it is to make it work and get the flare looking right. Did you make plugs, then molds then flares? or did you just lay up the glass and and body filler it smooth right over the foam? I spent waaaayyyyy too many hours trying to make these work and...

    XDm .45 Holster Mount

Your post is completely ridiculous, but makes sense since you live in Ontario. It's their right to carry, it's their choice, none of your concern. If we were allowed to, I would love to take my pistol in a holster in the bush for animal protection, or just to shoot it! But unfortunately our...

Anyone make an all Aluminum Radiator

Did you check Mishimoto? They have tons of aluminum rads, might find one that is close to the right size.

Why the love for a manual trans for offroad?

They each have their advantages. Manual transmissions are typically more reliable and longer lasting with fewer moving parts, they are great for going down steep hills where you can pick a gear and it stays there. Auto's like to freewheel going downhill giving you very little compression...

    El Cheapo 4Runner build

Yes, it's not in yet as I've been using the 4runner quite a bit and don't really feel like tearing it apart just yet.

    El Cheapo 4Runner build

I think some 2.0 adjustable Radflo or other higher end brand of shocks along with hydro/air bumps would work really well. ;) I love this thing, still amazes me how fast I can go comfortably on rough roads.

    Depression

They had someone come observe him at school and she basically said there's nothing wrong because at school he follows all the rules and thrives in the routine schedule. They were going down the sensory processing disorder road, but he fits in Aspergers in every detail.

Thanks for all that, I'm going to pass it along to the inlaws!

    Depression

Perhaps an inspiration to you could be helping someone else out who also has your syndrome. My 7 year old nephew has Aspergers, his parents don't want to admit it, but the signs are all there. They have lost control of the child/parent dynamic, and this little boy is getting his way and I fear...

Spare Wheel Weight vs. Alloy Wheel Weight

Does anyone know what the stock muffler weighs?
