Sorry to bring up an old thread but I figured I’d update. I took my 4runner to the dealership and they said it needs a new catylitic converter... gonna be about a grand with parts and labor, maybe another 300 if it needs another O2 Sensor. The steering wheel is pointed to 1 o'clock on the clock face when it's driving straight so when the steering wheel is pointed at 12 it drifts to the left. So you suggest taking the shaft completely off the steering rack and adjusting it? I guess it would need to go one spline counter clockwise...
