Pretty much...I ran into much the same when I was looking for a T4R for my wife. Had a guy that accused me of breaking his tranny on a test drive...people wanting a mint for theirs. Wound up paying less than 8K for a 2002 Limited with 125k on the clock. This guy cracks me up...try cleaning...

It's quite possibly to have all of it taken care of. I CarFaxed my Tacoma when I had an account last month. It shows one service, because I always had things done at an independent shop that apparently didn't report. (Knowing a longtime mechanic has its benefits.)

I've been debating this myself...my wife technically owns the 4Runner in the house, and I've been in total jealousy since it showed up. I have a 2003 DoubleCab PreRunner that I'm considering selling or trading off.

Here's my 2003 Prerunner...These were taken right after I got it back from my wife following the sale of my '96 Mustang GT. Had to get rid of that because I didn't think putting a child seat in the back would be a fun time. I added the new wheels and Nitto Terra Grapplers all the way around.

Thanks for posting that! It's the same one I ordered last week after mine met the cruel demise at the hands of a car wash. (I'm not used to having to put my antenna down...Tacoma owner)

In this market, I might throw 10k at him...but that's about it. Considering invoice was about 32k for this vehicle, at 12 years old I wouldn't pay what was nearly depreciated as he drove if off the lot.

If this is anyone's T4R in Denver, I apologize in advance... But wow! Yes, there are low miles and Colorado is high prices for them...but anyone think this is just a little bit outside the ballpark? 2002 4Runner Limited *One Owner*

Honestly, the interior wood trim isn't that far off from my wife's 2002 Limited. Could just be the lighting that makes it look odd.

I did something ridiculously stupid. I took my wife's T4R to an automatic car wash after a trip to the mountains. (I'm not used to having a motorized antenna). Listening to the radio and SNAP! Off to eBay to order a new antenna because even online dealers want $45 for a replacement.

The market is about what it should be for the reliability. I discovered this place while shopping for my wife's 2002 T4R. I wanted a comparable reliable vehicle for her, based on my 2003 Tacoma experience. Now the poor thing is neglected because I'm in love with her truck. The market...
