I can't stand squeaks, rattles and mystery noises! Not sure if this will help but, on my 03 drivers door, the rubber seal makes a weird noise rubbing on the body. Doesn't do it all the time and I'm not sure what causes it. Try wiping that down or crack the door open next time you hear it. Good...

Not sayin you didn't already try this, but, did you refer to the manual? I've had mechanics tell me my 4wd is bad just because they don't understand how to engage or disengage. The beeping does sound like a plane going down and it can rattle ones nerves. Good luck!

Thanks for replying, there is no where else for the pad to go, it is up against the stagnant part of the caliper. The pad is against the stagnant part on one side and the piston is all the way in on the other side. Soo wish I had taken pictures...
