Yeah they are kid friendly; I bring my 8 y/o daughter with us all the time. Though she might be a little 'salty' that we're taking the 4Runner and not the FJ w/the doors this time. :Cry:

When they did replace them it was leaking from the end of boots, where they're clamped. Most issues arise (when lifted) from the boot actually wearing out, this wasn't the case, but they replaced them none the less.
