07V8 is correct. Don't just associate the AC system with cold air. The AC will suck moisture from the air and clear up a fogged window faster. There is a reason why there is a puddle of water under your car when you leave it parked for a while after having your AC running.

My '07 had a pretty strong cigarette smell when I bought it six months ago, but only when I turned on the fan. Even if you get rid of the smell from the interior, it might return when you turn your fan on. I did try a new charcoal cabin air filter in mine which didn't help, but I'm not really...

My car did exactly what yours is doing, until it got worse and did it all the time at idle. It was the exhaust shield under the driver's side floorboard. Try pressing on the shield when it is doing it and see if it stops.

If you're talking about the entire overhead console, I wouldn't be looking for a new one. Odds are it will cost you close to $1000. Here's a used gray one on eBay for $50.

Yep, I didn't really know if that would help or not, but it's where I would have started and you might have got lucky. I saw your other post about the AC relay. Are you thinking now that you might have a couple of different things going on, or can you somehow attribute the rest of the control...

I would start by unplugging the connector on the back of the panel, let it sit for 30 seconds or so, then plug it back in and see what happens. Removing the panel is easy, you can find instructions here on the forum, and there are also videos on Youtube.

I don't know if it's your switch or not, but before you spend $1000 on a new one, check and see if you can find a used one. I had to replace my control panel for a different reason, and I purchased the whole panel which includes all three controls and the information display, for $100 on eBay...

Never had this apart so I can't visualize it, but what would be the downside of leaving the bolts loose if it works that way? Just put plenty of loctite on the threads so they don't loosen any more.
