I second the fact that you can drive with the diff removed. The remove the whole diff and cv. Simple. You'll just have an open hub on the inside vs a dust cap like 2wd models. No big deal to drive around like that for a week. Just don't go mudding or in water..

You can test your alternator easily. With the car running, unhook the positive on your battery. the alternator must be able to run the vehicle and all of the equipment flawlessly. The idle May drop slightly, but it should maintain the vehicles stock equipment. If it doesn't and the car dies,not...

I had the same thing happen when I lengthened the wires for my reverse camera. My problem was simply all the wires shorting out together. Someone forgot to separate em and heat shrink em. Blowing a fuse is simply a result of shorting out somewhere.

That is fricken awesome. Perfect for when your camping and if you've got a rear cargo set up capable of sleeping quarters.

We'll. the only real good purpose of installing a solar generator is if your going to be running a lot of 12v without the car running for extended periods of time. If your camping for a few days, It'd be great. Anything expedition related or over engineered has my two thumbs up.

I had 265-70-16's good year wranglers on stock 4runner rims. Got 2012 tacoma rims now rollig on 285's (33's) kenda kevlars. No lift. Front rubs on frame, rear who cares!
