Maybe look into some different oil or a higher octane of gas. I will alternate between 93 octane and 87 in my '03 4th gen and there is a significant improvement in speed and engine quality with the higher 93 octane gas.
I have a v6 with 145k miles on it, so I should probably look to have this done again. Think last time was around 68k or something? Anyone know a good place in OP, KS? Or got videos on how to do it yourself?
Same thing with my 2003 Toyota 4runner 4th gen happened. Though I got something from Toyota and they fully replaced it for free. This was just within the last 6 months. So not sure why Toyota is giving you the run around on it. Toyota said it was a known defect as they were not using enough glue...
