    F.S. - Completely stock 2004 SE V8 4x4

Checked email one last time this morning and with a heavy heart I went to CarMax and basically gave it away. Then I just logged on to remove my adds and saw one lone email sitting in the "junk mail" folder, where Microsoft Outlook, in it's infinite wisdom, decided to put it last night...

Hey guys - Long time no post on here. It's time to let my baby go. Had a kid, went to one income, sold the boat... you know the story. I'll cut and past the add I posted on AutoTrader below. I'm listing it there for $16,250 based on everything else I see on there. I'd sell it to you guys for...

    Differential fluid change

Hey guys - Haven't posted in a long time. I'm finally at the 30k miles point and was a bit overwhelmed by how much work was required. I was contemplating going to the Stealer :( Until I read these threads.... thanks for all the info! :awais: I'll give it a shot. J

Yo Mr. Speed - where at in Oregon do you call home? I lived in Redmond and worked in Bend for three years... I still think it's God's Country although the folks in my current state would kill me if they found out... :)

Anyone regretting buying a 4Runner with the new Pathfinder out now?

Pathy a little tight for bigger guys, wives, kids and dogs. Howdy - a buddy of mine ('92 4R owner) and I just checked out the new Pathfinders a week or two ago. I love my 2004 SE 4Runner, but he is in the market for a new ride. He's probably 6'2" tall and has the whole American dream thing...

When to start using Synthetic Oil: From Toyota

Here's an interesting oil website... Bob The Oil Guy I think he has a link on there for a Blackstone Labs oil analysis kit... I'm coming up on my 10K after putting Mobile 1 in at 1.5K (and changing again at 5k) and I'm going to send in a sample for analysis. J

I have to quit using the dealer for service

Roger that Pitbull, really a pisser. We had to have the timing belt redone, so they looked at the valves when they had it torn apart. They recommended a full valve job, which would have put our total bill at about twice what the car is worth. Since it already has 100k on it, we'll drive it until...

I have to quit using the dealer for service

Hey guys - I do my own oil/filter changes on my own schedule and would love to do more of the work on my own, but there simply isn't much time. To that end, how would you suggest a way to find top quality mechanics or shops, or even groups of enthusiasts who get together to do this kind of...
