Soooo easy to do. Took a total of 10 minutes. Putting them back on im sure is a little more difficult... but with 2 people should be just as easy. To me, 4runners without running boards look somewhat lifted. I can't wait till I get my 3" lift put on...
Cool mod! I guess I'm just flexible, but usually I just lower the window and reach around to do it from the outside. For about 10 bucks though... it would be cool just to do.
Yakima racks are nice, but like you stated... they are expensive.

Black is the only attractive color with the Grey cladding. This is a good price for a 4x4 v8. Sure the mileage is high, but its been really well cared for.

It would be much safer for you to measure yours... due to the fact that tires can make that much of a difference... as well as sag due to worn out springs, etc...
Looks great! I have done the Houston - San Antonio - Houston trip a few times and that takes some patience... at least you got to fiddle with your new ride on the way home.
