Im in the middle of installing some Alpine monitors in the Wife's Runner. I drilled a hole onto the chrome rail then fished the wire down through the seat. I'll post some pics when the project is finished.

The car never had a sub. I got the sub box at the salvage yard too, so I never heard a runner with a sub. But it sounds pretty nice to me. Its not super loud but it does fill the lower end out pretty nice.

I used the 2 goofy trim pieces on the Avic. Its not great but it will do. I used Tsunami speaker wire. Street Wires power and ground cables. And Monster audio cables. The sub is the shallow mount Pioneer 8 incher. Not super low but fills in the bottom end pretty good.

IPod interface. Hidden away out of sight and no wires dangling everywhere.

Open up and the Tsunami distrib. block

And through the firewall, to the center armrest.

Battery/Power cable

And in through the fire wall. Sealed up with black RTV.

GPS antenna on pass side roof. I simply ran the wire behind the windshield trim, into the engine bay..
