Hey, I have a set of 4 rims that are straight and hold air and a white hood that I’d like to donate. I’m in Downingtown, PA for local pick-up. The hood is perfect, stock white, no scoop. The rims have some corrosion but are true and hold air perfectly. PM me if interested, I can email pics

make sure the transfer case actuator works properly for 4 hi/lo, center diff lock. big expense to replace it

67-69 t-birds had them as well early models used a rotating cam to fire them, then went to a solid state controller.

I havent had one go bad on my 4runner, but it sounds like that’s what you may have on yours. they bolt onto the outside of the transmission housing, and a quick search showed the part runs between 40-200 dollars online. that shouldnt be too hard to swap, search replace neutral safety switch...

replaced the gooey rear liftgate switch For 30 bucks on Amazon and about 30 minutes of my time I replaced the switch that had gotten so gooey that you couldnt open the gate from the outside anymore. You can buy just the rubber cover for 15 dollars and clean the old switch or get the whole...

I still have the OEM battery in my 08, i like the hydrometer eye on those. Do yourselves a favor and remember to fill the cells with distilled water every few months / at every oil change. Even “maintenance free” batteries need some tlc
