Extra Wheels Require Dealer Confiruation Update

I bought aftermarket wheels and tires and just had to swap the TPMS, it required no reconfiguration and my low pressure light never came on. If you want to swap your TPMS sensors out every summer and winter then you shouldn't have a problem.

Satoshi Grill Mod - 5th Gen

On the back of the toyota badge there are 3 posts. There's a wider base and then it thins out at the top of all three posts. I cut the thinner top part of those three posts off just leaving the thicker base area. I then drilled a small hole (just wide enough for my small zip ties) diagonally...

trying to find the right combo

With a 9" wheel you need a -12 offset to have the factory backspace. That will not rub your UCA and with 275's with a 1.75 lift you shouldn't have to worry about too much rubbing.

trying to find the right combo

My 17x9's with 285/70/17's have the -12 offset, I have a little front fender rubbing but after pulling it forward it barely touches fully locked in reverse, I don't hear any rub at all driving forward.

    Bug/stone deflector

Why are you looking for one without screws? Preference? The one on amazon has screws but it attaches to holes already in the under side of the hood. It takes all of 2 minutes to install w/ the included instructions. I would imagine it much more secure than 1 with doublesided tape. Yes, the 2010...

    cowaggon's 2011 SR5

No I got the front and rear spacer kit. The ride seems fine right now. I ddnr get an alignment yet but it tides pretty smooth right now. I can feel its a lot more solid of a ride. I have an sr5 and coming from a truck I could feel the spongy ride it had before. The spacers tightened that up and...

    Conflicting Info about lift

I got the quote from a "4x4" offroad shop. I don't mind paying 150 for an alignment but it does seem high. I live in AR and the cost of living here is pretty low. Prices for things are usually lower than most places I've lived before. I think my plan is to do my lift myself and get the wheels...

    Conflicting Info about lift

I think I'm just going to take it to the auto hobby shop on the air force base here. I can rent a full lift bay for a day for 30 bucks and they have all the tools I need to do everything except the alignment. I should be able to get the alignment done that afternoon or Monday morning. I hate...

    Conflicting Info about lift

Yeah, I've heard of that. I asked him if it was a lifetime alignment where he proceeded to tell me it was a 1 time thing. He also told me that with a spacer lift I'm not going to get much settle if any at all. I just hate that much conflicting info, but it kind of sounds like he was trying to...

    Conflicting Info about lift

I have a 3/2 toytec spacer lift I'm about to get installed. I've talked to 2 separate companies that I'm quoting to install my lift. 1 company tells me that I need to let the suspension set over a few days before I go get an alignment. The other company tells me I need an alignment immediately...

what an unbelievable difference! - kappa 3.5 dash speakers

Did you damage any part of the speaker when you were trimming? If not, you could try to add the bass blockers. Some guys on here said they had to. I think theres even a write up about it somewhere in this thread. I was lucky and don't have that problem but I would try that first. If you still...
