These were on my 2019 4runner off-road premium for 3 months. Never used with crossbars. I ended up installing frontrunner rails / roof rack so no longer have a need for them. I’m in mid-Westchester, NY. Pick up only.

Similar here. 13, 11 and 9 year olds. Smaller than average kids. Larger than average dog that goes in the cargo area. We didn’t want the third row as we wanted it for the dog. With a roof rack and cargo tray, it works fine for us with the occasional squabble. We’re taking it on an 8+ hour trip...

I’m a big fan of the 1919s attached to a frontrunner roof rack and a front hitch mounted cargo tray. I have 3 boxes thus far and plan to get a 4th they work so well for my setup. I use rollercam ratchets to tie them down.
