Absolutely go after diminished value, and assume the insurance company will low ball you. I start at a 10-20% vehicle value loss and negotiate from there depending upon the extent of the damage.
Quick update on my TEP and a thread bump to those that may have not seen it yet. I finally got my 2016 TEP in and have the dealership perform the TSB under warranty. I have 28K miles. Everything is smooth again!
Thanks again for everyone involved in this thread!
I've got about 19K on my 16 TEP. I'm averaging about 19.5 to 20.5 MPG this month, even with my KO2's. Usually average around 18.5 when it's real cold out. I do a lot of highway driving, and keep the needle around 70-75 MPH.

For those that want to get ride of your sliding cargo tray and return to carpet! I have the carpet, padding and trim pieces to remove your sliding cargo tray. I bought them from another member in April and never got around to installing it. I've...
Agree completely on the tires, mats and lights. I hated the stock tires even on dry pavement. They were horrible in the rain so I can't imagine them in mud or snow. Stock headlight output was so bad they were downright dangerous! Xenondepot's HID kit is amazing!
I LOVE my Philips 4300K HID kit from Xenondepot. Install was easy and the light output is MUCH better than stock. Cutoff is good with stock housings as well. Never been flashed and had them in since April.
I think I have this issue too. Noticed the issue a around the time I had K02's installed and figured it might have been them. Put it into 4WD and the vibration is gone! Too bad, just had the 15K service done on my 16 TEP.
Here is a few pictures of my 2016 TEP. Had it for about 2 months not. This was after its first wash and wax.
