If it were me I'd get a 12 volt outlet charger that matches your computer. Otherwise your taking 12 volts from the 4runner converting it to 110 volts AC, then converting it back to 18-21 volts DC to charge the laptop.

When I changed mine at 75,000 it was reddish brown anyway so the dex 3 I used matched just fine :thumb3:

Could you try opening the drivers window, get out of the truck, hit the lock button on the door, then hit the auto up on the window? Do you plan on using another key to get back in?

I just received the new rack and I received 8 longer bolts with the green thread locker instead of 4 longer green and 4 shorter blue thread locker bolts. Did they change the instal? I still received 4 thicker rubber washers and 4 thinner fiber washers. Thanks, Ron

Saker, yes from what I can tell from your photos I placed my ruler in the same position. meaning the ruler is tight against the support tube.
