I just did this mod yesterday. I bought black vinyl and did it myself. Took about 30 min. Also did the silver on the side step. Made a Huge difference appearance wise and it was pretty easy. First time working with vinyl as well. So I say go for it. I wouldn’t plasti dip. Just won’t look right...

2018 grey trd off road with kdss, rubber Matt’s, rack. Paid 40k OTD and I went in with my own financing through my credit union. They provided that OTD price before stepping into the dealer and I was signing papers within 30 min. Got mine from Right Toyota I’m socal. -chris
